Floor/wall mounted boards
The large, independently moving board surfaces and the integrated projection screens are particularly suitable for lecture theaters, educational centers and large auditoriums.

Writing surfaces in green glass, green steel and white steel
The glass writing surfaces ensure particularly easy chalking/erasing while the steel surface has the additional facility to accept magnetic aids. Drymarker pens are used on the white surfaces.

Projection screens for all requirements
Numerous combinations are possible. 4 examples shown are as follows: (1) two screens next to each other, one tilting to 20°, (2) a fixed mounted or tilting stretched screen (this has the screen material tensioned over a steel frame), (3) a single screen, roller type, mounted in front of the boards. (4) A side mounted screen with tilt/swivel facility for OHP use.

Safety conscious styling
Smoothly rounded corners and edges ensure a high degree of safety. Every detail even down to the chalk shelf and sturdy aluminum cleaner holder are of matching design.

COLUMN MOUNTED BOARDS
1. Columns:
Aluminum extrusion with integrated guide flanges for board runners, which are designed to carry the complete load. Provided with brackets for permanent anchoring to the floor, wall or ceiling. Single columns expandable into double or triple units. Columns to be separate units to allow for ease of maintenance. System shall have no horizontal cross members which leaves rear wall free of obstructions. This extra space can be utilized for larger rear or front projection screen.

The writing surfaces shall attach to the board runners, which slide vertically within the guide flanges and shall be balanced by adjustable counterweights running inside the columns. A free and quiet run to be guaranteed by pulleys provided with ball bearings. Rattling or scratching noises from counterweights inside the columns shall be eliminated by installation of Teflon caps to top and bottom of counterweights.

Counterweights are to be square, hollow tubes which allow for on-site fine adjustment by adding or removing weight. Counterweights and board runners shall be connected by a heavy duty aircraft type steel cable. Each board runner (two per board) shall be equipped with four (4) polymid slide-guide free-running rollers to guarantee a smooth, noiseless and non-binding board movement. The board runner will be installed in a concealed manner to avoid possibilities of injuries while in use. Sliding motion of boards shall be softly cushioned at upper and lower limits of vertical travel by rubber disc and spring. To avoid injury, front surfaces and exposed edges of columns shall be well rounded with a minimum radius of five mm (0.2 inches). Inner splines will be provided to allow for attachment of, at any point, various accessories without causing movement or flexing of column. Writing surface color shall be white to reduce glare. Papers and drawings can be attached with magnets or picture clamps.

2. Writing Surfaces: Panel structure shall be as follows:
Sandwich panel of 1-1/2 ± thickness, consisting of honeycomb core, with top layer of 0.11" dense chipboard on front and reverse side to provide a rigid, even and warp-free support structure for the porcelain steel and chalk writing surfaces which are to be directly bonded to the front side of the sandwich panel. Reverse side of the panel shall be provided with a backer sheet of corrosion free steel to achieve a symmetrical, warp-free build-up. Regardless of writing surface size, panels shall be completely free from buckling or bending.

a. Chalk boards - shall be a minimum of twenty-eight gauge special quality steel with porcelain enamel coating on front and reverse side. Coating to be a high fired type porcelain with a minimum of 0.003" thickness applied at over 1400 degrees F. The writing surface is to be glare free, non-glossy and of a highly uniform texture to achieve superior writing ability.

Writing surface color shall be black for definition and contrast upon use of white or colored chalk. Reflectance factor shall be 17.5% with plus or minus 5% maximum tolerance and shall not vary as the result of wear or use.

Papers can be attached with magnets or picture clamps.

b. Drymarker Boards - shall be a minimum of twenty-eight gauge special quality steel, with porcelain enamel coating on front and reverse side. Coating (color to be selected by architect) to be high fired type porcelain with minimum 0.003" thickness applied at over 1500 degrees F. Writing surface shall be glossy, smooth, free from hairline cracks, stain and scratch resistant for easy writing with drymarker pens. Easy cleaning shall be possible with clean felt eraser or clean cloth. Only periodic maintenance cleaning, using paper towels or lint free cloths moistened with water or non-oily mild detergent will be required to prevent build-up of residue.

Writing surface color shall be white to reduce glare. Papers and drawings can be attached with magnets or picture clamps.

c. Trim Profiles - shall be aluminum extrusion and surround entire board, except as noted at static boards. Extrusion shall be bonded directly to steel writing surface to prevent moisture intrusion. To avoid injuries, all trim profile edges must be provided with a radius of three mm (0.12") minimum. Corner pieces shall have a minimum radius of twelve mm (1.2"). Trim profile finish shall be a powder coating, color as selected by architect. All surrounding trim profile shall accept picture clamps, hooks, flip chart holder, chalk or pen rail and handles in a temporary or permanent fashion.

Accessories:
The following accessories shall be available as options, or supplied as indicated on contract documents:

Picture clamps
Magnets
Picture hooks
Handles
Flip Chart Holder
Chalk/pen rail

Optional equipment:
